Daniel Pino

Daniel Pino has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Daniel started their career as a Webmaster and Marketing Analyst at the University of New Orleans in 2009. After that, they completed internships at Microsoft Ecuador S.A. and Esperanza International, where they gained experience in marketing, operations, and managerial leadership.

In 2013, Daniel founded Inn The Night, a mobile application platform focused on nightlife entertainment in Ecuador. Daniel successfully designed and launched the application, as well as established contracts and partnerships with industry leaders.

Daniel then joined Southwest Airlines as a Digital Marketing Intern in 2014. Daniel contributed to cost savings and efficiency improvements by creating automated reporting systems and conducting competitive assessments.

In 2014, Daniel became a Moritz Fellow at Esperanza International. Daniel managed projects such as implementing a new banking system and creating internal auditing departments.

In 2019, Daniel joined Gray Line Ecuador as a Board Member, where they contributed to the company's day tours and sightseeing operations.

Most recently, Daniel became the Director of Business Development at RocketRez in 2023. Daniel'scurrent role involves leading business development initiatives for the company.

Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated strong entrepreneurial skills and a passion for innovation, as evidenced by their roles as founder and board member in various organizations.

Daniel Pino has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Management, which they obtained from Texas Christian University between 2011 and 2013. Daniel also received a Diplomate in Foreign Trade from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2016 as part of a study abroad program at Universidad Pablo de Olavide. In terms of additional certifications, Daniel has been certified as a Specialist in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word by Microsoft Corp, all obtained in October 2011. In 2019, Daniel completed YCombinator's Startup School program online, although no degree or field of study was specified for this experience.
