Lauren Keough

Lauren Keough is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Associate Director of Professional Development at Rocketship Public Schools since July 2021. Previously, Lauren held the position of Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Education Unlimited from June 2019 to July 2021. Lauren's extensive background in education includes roles at KIPP NYC as Dean of Teaching and Learning and as a Reading Teacher and Grade Team Leader. Lauren started as a History Teacher at Bronx Prep Charter School and also served as a Corps Member Advisor and Corps Member with Teach for America. Early career experience includes teaching 6th Grade Social Studies with the NYC Department of Education. Lauren holds a Master's degree in Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies from Stanford University, a Master's of Arts in Social Studies Education from Lehman College, and a Bachelor's of Arts in History and Art History from UCLA.
