Saray Basave Gonzalez

Saray Basave Gonzalez is a dedicated education professional currently serving as a 1st grade Humanities Teacher at Rocketship Public Schools since July 2023. Previously, Saray held the position of Associate Teacher at Voices College-Bound Language Academies from August 2022 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing and motivating young students in collaboration with the head teacher. Prior experiences range from roles in hospitality and retail, including positions as a Host at BJ's Restaurants, a Sales Lead at Journeys, and a Kitchen Helper at Round Table Pizza. Saray also contributed to the Saratoga Union School District as a Summer Enrichment Program Leader in July 2022 and worked as a Personal Shopper at VONS. Saray holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from San José State University, completed in 2023.
