Kasper Sánchez Vibæk

Kasper Sánchez Vibæk has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of sustainability, architecture, and design. Kasper Sánchez currently holds the position of Head of Sustainability & Public Affairs at Rockfon, a company they joined in 2022. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Board of Advisors for Sustainability & due diligence at Wehlers since 2014.

Kasper also worked as a Technical Consultant at Green Building Council Denmark from February 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they held the role of Quality & Sustainability, Design & Compliance Manager at Kvadrat Soft Cells A/S from September 2013 to September 2020. In this position, they led a team in the research and development department, focusing on developing and designing acoustic products and solutions with textiles.

Kasper Sánchez'scareer also includes roles as an Associate Professor Ph.D. at CINARK, Institute of Technology, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture from October 2011 to September 2013, and as a Ph.D. student and Associate Researcher at CINARK, Centre of Industrialized Architecture, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 2004 to 2011.

Kasper's experience also extends to international collaborations, as they worked as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010 and as Visiting Research Staff at KieranTimberlake, focusing on Design for Disassembly and Re-use the same year.

Kasper Sánchez has also worked on architectural visualization as a Teacher at TEC - Technical Education Copenhagen in 2004 and contributed as an Architectural Visitor's Guide at First United A/S in 2008.

Throughout their career, Kasper has demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability and the integration of environmentally friendly practices in architecture and design.

Kasper Sánchez Vibæk's education history includes a range of degrees and certifications. In 2020-2021, they pursued a postgraduate course in Business Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge. From 2009 to 2011, they attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Architecture from KADK, and in 2010, they were a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania studying Product Design. Kasper obtained a diploma in Sociology from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they completed their Cand.arch degree in Industrialised Architecture at KADK between 1994 and 2002.

In terms of certifications, Kasper obtained a DGNB Consultant, Buildings in Use certification from the Green Building Council Denmark in March 2021. Kasper Sánchez also holds a DGNB Consultant certification from the DGNB German Sustainable Building Council, which they obtained in November 2016.
