Alicia Douglas

Director Of Community Relations & Outreach at Rockhurst University

Alicia Douglas has extensive work experience, starting in 1999 at Rockhurst University. Alicia began as an Admission Counselor, where they were responsible for recruiting multicultural students from Kansas City and St. Louis areas, as well as working with international students. In 2002, they were promoted to Director of Community Relations & Outreach. Alicia also served as a Board Member for Tulips on Troost from 2005 to 2010 and as a Board Member for Southtown Council from 2003 to 2007, where they held various roles, including 2nd Vice President and Board Secretary. Additionally, they continued to participate with the Beautification Committee of Southtown Council.

Alicia Douglas has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and music from Cardinal Stritch University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Alicia also pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Rockhurst University, earning it from 2016 to 2019. In addition, they studied Sociology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2007 to 2010, although the specific degree obtained is unspecified. Alicia has acquired various certifications, including an Adult Mental Health First Aid USA Certificate from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in January 2023 and a Certificate of Study in Town & Gown Relations from the International Town-Gown Association.
