Janna Burbidge

Janna Burbidge, SHRM-CP, has a comprehensive work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked at the Washington State Auditor's Office, where they served as an Auditor in charge of large and complex financial compliance audits. Janna managed multiple projects simultaneously and was responsible for the planning, scheduling, budget tracking, prioritizing, conducting, and documenting risk-based audits. In 2007, they joined the State Auditor's Office as an Assistant Manager in HR, where they played a leadership role in supporting executive management and audit managers. Their responsibilities included managing the recruitment program and overseeing the development and delivery of auditor technical training.

In 2012, Janna joined the City of Hope as a Senior Internal Auditor before transitioning to Protiviti / City of Hope in 2013. During their time at Protiviti / City of Hope, they held various roles, including HR/Internal Audit/Project Manager/Manager.

Since 2016, Janna has been working in different roles at Rockley Photonics, starting as an HR Business Partner and progressing to HR Business Manager, Senior Manager HR Business Partner, Associate Director of People, Culture & OD, and currently Director of People.

Throughout their career, Janna has demonstrated expertise in HR management, recruitment, training, and audit operations.

Janna Burbidge, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance from Western Washington University. In terms of additional certifications, Janna has obtained the following: Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification in Human Resources (HR) from Six Sigma Online and Aveta Business Institute in April 2023, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in Human Resources (HR) from Six Sigma Online and Aveta Business Institute in April 2023, and the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from SHRM in December 2015. Janna also has certifications in Frontline Leader Impact from the Center for Creative Leadership and Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain.
