Sawan Bruins

Sawan Bruins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both public service and management consultancy. Currently serving as the Fraction Leader and Member of the Municipal Council for D66 Huizen since September 2021, Sawan Bruins has previously held similar roles in D66 Gooise Meren, emphasizing sustainability and financial health within local governance. As a Principal at Magnus Energy since October 2004, focus has been on complex consultancy and change management projects of strategic importance, while also mentoring startups at Rockstart's Smart Energy Accelerator since February 2016. Additionally, Sawan Bruins has project management experience with the CWE and Core Energy consortium, and previously managed various IT projects for companies such as Essent and T-Mobile Nederland. Sawan Bruins holds a degree in Logistics & Information Technology from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
