Gaurav Thakkar

Gaurav joined Rockstud Capital in June 2018. He heads the startup investment team at the Fund and is responsible for end-to-end transaction, right from deal sourcing, to deal execution to deal closure. He also plays an active role in the fund raising initiatives of the Fund.

Prior to joining Rockstud Capital, Gaurav spent over 5 years in the Investment Banking space working with companies like BDO India, Acumen M&A Advisors, KGS Advisors, and Yen Capital.

He has done his MBA (Finance) from Mumbai University (2007-09). He also pursued an investment banking course from The School of Investment Banking.

Gaurav has a passion for teaching and to pursue this interest, he took up the role of a visiting faculty at Triumphant Institute of Management Education (T.I.M.E.) Pvt. Ltd. where he assists students with their Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI) preparations for admission to Management Institutes.
