Jami Slagle

Jami Slagle is an experienced educator specializing in special education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Rockwall ISD since December 2020. Prior to this role, Jami gained experience as a Middle School Math Resource Teacher at K12 from August 2018 to December 2020, and as a 6th Grade Math Special Education Teacher at Responsive Education Solutions from August 2016 to August 2018. Jami also worked at Rockwall ISD in various capacities, including Resource Teacher and 7th Grade Math Teacher from August 2014 to June 2016. Jami's early career included financial roles in accounting and budgeting, including positions at Texas Mutual Insurance Company, Zimmer, Prodigy Communications, and Sysco Foods. Jami holds a Master's degree in Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce (2019-2021), an MBA in Finance from Texas State University (2002-2004), and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler (1995-1999).
