Austin Locke

Austin Locke is a seasoned professional in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Principal - Global Lead of Data Science and AI at Rockwell Automation since August 2023. As the founder of Salt Sofas since November 2019, Austin has a strong entrepreneurial background. Prior to this, Austin held various leadership roles at Kalypso: A Rockwell Automation Business from June 2013 to August 2023, including Partner and Senior Manager, where responsibilities encompassed business unit growth, strategic partnerships, and team mentorship. Austin’s early career includes positions such as Product Manager at Clearwater Fund, Course Developer at the Sorenson Center for Design and Innovation, and roles in marketing at JetBlue Airways and residential real estate appraisal. Austin earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Utah and a BA in Business from Utah State University.
