Harshi Weerasinghe

Harshi Weerasinghe, Ph.D., is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in enterprise software solutions and technical consulting within the field of data science. Currently serving as a Senior Enterprise Software Solutions Consultant and Technical Consultant at Rockwell Automation since February 2022, Harshi has previously held positions at MACOM and StreetScan, contributing significantly as a data scientist and analyst. Prior experience includes analytical roles at MassDOT and research expertise gained during tenure as a Research Associate at both the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Northeastern University and the International Max Planck Research School. Harshi has a strong academic background, holding multiple graduate degrees, including a Ph.D. in Numerical Modeling and Geo-informatics from the University of Hamburg and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, further complemented by teaching experience at the University of Peradeniya.
