Rich Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Rich began their career in 2010 as a Shooting Producer, Director, and Editor at RHAP Ltd, where they produced multiple sports programming for Sky Sports, with a focus on fishing content. Rich then worked at Somersault as a Shooting Producer and Director, providing video-related services to various national and international brands.
In 2012, Edwards joined Central Media Productions Limited as a VT Editor and Lighting Cameraman. Rich later joined 1080 Media Organization Ltd, where they took on roles such as Features Producer and Director for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, as well as Lighting Cameraman and Editor for Davis Cup and Fed Cup events.
Edwards also worked as an On Board and Multimedia Reporter for the Volvo Ocean Race, creating and delivering video content, photos, and written articles for the organization. Rich'swork in this role was used to create a 7-part documentary TV series and numerous spin-offs.
Continuing their career, Edwards joined weareMerci as a Freelance Shooting Producer and Director, managing budgets and projects for clients Musto and Triumph Motorcycles. Rich then worked at LiveWire Sport as a Lighting Camera Operator, Editor, and Shooting Producer and Director, primarily focusing on sports content, including the Premier League Rising Stars series.
As a Video Producer at OH! Films, Edwards collaborated on numerous projects for agencies, businesses, institutions, and corporate brands. Notable productions included Earth Optimism Cambridge 2021.
Currently, Edwards holds the role of lead Content Producer for the Denmark SailGP Team in Group Marketing, Communications, and Public Affairs at ROCKWOOL Group. In this position, they are responsible for creating and delivering media products for international SailGP stopovers, including an online magazine show called "Beneath the Surface."
Throughout their career, Edwards has demonstrated a passion for storytelling and has worked on projects for various well-known organizations and brands, creating engaging content across different mediums.
Rich Edwards received their BA (1st Class) degree in Film from Staffordshire University from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Bishop Heber High School from 1994 to 1999.
