Sandeep Christopher Tauro

Sandeep Christopher Tauro, Ph.D, currently serves as the Functional Lead for Data Science and AI at ROCKWOOL Group, where responsibilities include hiring and managing a team of ML and Data Engineers for the Factory-of-Future programme. With a strong background in AI solutions, Sandeep has developed and deployed innovative technologies for manufacturing process control at ROCKWOOL, and has also worked as a Technical Consultant at Deep Solutions. Previous positions include Senior Scientist roles at Foss Analytical A/S and FOSS, where Sandeep focused on novel sensor technologies and food safety algorithms. Earlier experience includes product application research at Dantec Dynamics and postdoctoral research at DTU Fotonik and the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, with contributions in optical manipulation and atmospheric sciences. Sandeep holds a Ph.D in Physics from the Bhabha Atomic Research Center, with specialization in mass spectrometry and artificial intelligence, as well as a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Mumbai.
