Amy Iler began their work experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University from August 2005 to June 2010. Amy then moved on to become a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Maryland starting in September 2010. Additionally, they held the same role at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, where they studied long term changes in flowering phenology of subalpine wildflowers and conducted natural history work on a plant species from June 2010 onwards.
Amy Iler completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Science from Muskingum University between 2001 and 2005. Amy then pursued a PhD in Evolution, Ecology, & Organismal Biology from The Ohio State University, which they completed in the period of 2005-2010.
