Elizabeth Harnett

Senior Associate, Climate-Aligned Finance at RMI

Elizabeth Harnett is a Senior Associate at RMI, where they work on climate-aligned finance. Prior to joining RMI, Elizabeth was a Stipendiary Lecturer in Human Geography at Jesus College Oxford, where they edited and wrote blog posts and social media content for MAF Youth. Elizabeth has also worked as a Technical Advisor at One Planet Sovereign Wealth Funds, where they researched and wrote a report for the European Commission on the Future of Sustainable Finance, and worked on the Forest 500 project creating a database of investors exposed to deforestation. Elizabeth is also a Junior Research Fellow at Regent's Park College, University of Oxford, and a Postgraduate Fellow at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG).

Elizabeth Harnett has a Ph.D. in Geography and the Environment from St. Hilda's College at the University of Oxford. Elizabeth also has an M.Phil. in Geography and the Environment from Jesus College at Oxford University, as well as an MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy from Jesus College. Elizabeth Harnett's undergraduate degree is in Geography from Jesus College at Oxford University. Elizabeth also has a certification in Communicating for Impact from McKinsey & Company, and another certification in Problem Solving from McKinsey & Company.
