Isabel Wood

Associate at RMI

Isabel Wood is an Associate at RMI, where involvement began in May 2022 with the Climate-Aligned Industries program and the Carbon Dioxide Removal Initiative, following a part-time role in the US Program focused on manufacturing, cleantech, economic development, and equity policy in the Great Lakes region. Isabel served as President of the Duke Undergraduate Environmental Union from May 2022 to May 2023, leading initiatives like the Duke Climate Commitment and Project Earth. As a Presidential Fellow at the Rachel Carson Council from May 2021 to May 2023, Isabel curated a newsletter and managed social media. Academic experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Wright Lab at Duke University, tutoring in multiple subjects, and holding an official note-taker position. Isabel holds a BA in Environmental Science and Policy from Duke University, with minors in Biology and Cultural Anthropology. Prior educational experiences include studies at Broward College and Florida International University.
