Lottie Mitchell

Lottie Mitchell is a Senior Associate at RMI since June 2024, and previously served as a Research Analyst at the Environmental Integrity Project from August 2022 to May 2024. Lottie has experience as a Community Organizer at the Powder River Basin Resource Council between June 2021 and June 2022, and worked as a Data Analyst and Research Fellow at the Epic Institute from October 2019 to May 2021. Starting Lottie's professional journey, experience includes a Backcountry Ranger/Search and Rescue Intern role at the National Park Service during July to September 2018, volunteering for the Hawai'i Island Hawksbill Turtle Recovery Project in summer 2017, and serving as a Lifeguard 1 at California State Parks from June 2014 to September 2016. Lottie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Systems with a focus on Oceans, Climate, and Atmosphere from Stanford University, earned between 2015 and 2019.
