Rushad Nanavatty

Rushad Nanavatty is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Managing Director at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) since May 2017 and as Managing Director at Third Derivative since November 2022, Rushad has demonstrated expertise in advancing innovative solutions in the energy sector. Previously, Rushad held the position of Chief Operating Officer at WeGen (formerly Merica Energy) from July 2015 to November 2016 and was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from April 2008 to April 2015. Earlier in the career, Rushad worked as a Consultant/Technical Advisor at Population Services International. Educational credentials include advanced studies at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a degree from St. Stephen's College in Delhi, and foundational education from The Doon School.
