Russell Mendell

Russell Mendell is currently an Associate with the US Program at RMI, but they have also been a Campaign Director at Earth Guardians. Russell started working at Earth Guardians in March of 2014 and continued working there until December of 2017. Russell's job was to work with youth leaders and help them become more committed to a just transition and climate solutions. Russell was successful in their role and helped many young people find their voices.

Russell Mendell is a graduate of Vermont Law and Graduate School, where they earned their Master's in energy law and policy. Russell's focus is on climate change, and they are currently working as an attorney in private practice.

They are on a team with Nathan Iyer - Senior Associate, US Program, Olivia Alves - Associate, US Program, and Ellie Garland - Associate, US Program. Russell Mendell reports to Aaron Brickman, Senior Principal, US Program.
