Wei Li

Wei is a senior associate with RMI China’s Heavy Industry Decarbonization team. He conducted research projects and collaborations to accelerate the decarbonization of China’s heavy industries, including the cement decarbonization roadmap, state-owned enterprises’ carbon management, heavy industry value chain decarbonization, and transition finance.

Before joining RMI, he was an associate at the World Resources Institute. His previous works focused on several aspects to keep cities sustainable, including creating better public transport, promoting walking and cycling, and improving air quality. He helped implement various sustainable transport projects in China and Southeast Asia, and was involved in the production of national standards and guidelines in China and Vietnam.
