Xinyue Ma

Associate, China Program at RMI

Xinyue is an associate with RMI’s China Program in the Infrastructure and Buildings Decarbonization team. She mainly focuses on the equitable energy transition of China’s Belt and Road Initiative and rural China.

Before RMI, Xinyue was the China research and project lead at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center, mainly focusing on the green transition of China’s overseas development finance and energy investment, governance and cooperation of development finance, etc.

She interned with the New Climate Economy (NCE) Initiative at the World Resources Institute in Washington, D.C., King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the National Development and Reforms Commission (NDRC) in Beijing, with experience in different aspects of energy transition, green finance, and China’s international trade and investment.
