Ziyi Liu

Ziyi Liu is an associate in RMI’s China Program, where he primarily focuses on supporting China’s transformation to a market-based and carbon-neutral power sector. Ziyi has an inter-disciplinary expertise in the electricity market, renewable energy, thermal engineering, and system design.

Prior to joining RMI, Ziyi ran various projects toward energy transition for Engie China, Sweco Denmark, Shanghai Electric, and Shenzhen Institute of Building Research. His research interests cover power sector decarbonization, integrated energy system modeling, market design, and policy intervention.
