Abel Rauch

Abel Rauch is a seasoned professional in product and software engineering, currently serving as the Product Manager, Omni Channel at Rocky Mountaineer since January 2022. In this role, Abel manages a multi-disciplinary team, oversees technical relationships with vendors such as Salesforce and Aeroplan, and supports the development of multiple booking channels. Previously, Abel held various leadership positions at CWT from October 2005 to December 2021, including Director of Software Engineering and Director of Product Solutions, where responsibilities included managing product and project teams and overseeing leisure technology projects. Prior experience includes roles at Tugboat Media, coreGenesis Systems, AVT, and BC Hydro, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development and database administration. Abel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Victoria and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
