Reinier van Iwaarden has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Reinier is currently working as a Product Manager at ROCSYS since March 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at Philips, starting as a Management Trainee in September 2016. At Philips, they served as an Integral Project Manager, leading projects such as the introduction of the Natural Response Nipple and the AirFree vent baby bottle accessory. Reinier also worked as a Sr. Industrialization Engineer, where they developed a new process for architecture design of automated assembly lines. Before joining Philips, Reinier interned at Fokker Elmo, where they performed a research project on aircraft electrical wiring systems. Reinier also interned at BMW Group, where they developed a computer model to test the robustness of vehicle dynamics control models. Additionally, Reinier gained experience at Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance as an intern and worked as a Consultant at De Kleine Consultant. Outside of their professional endeavors, they have held leadership positions such as Chairman at Delftsche Studenten Alpen Club and Board member at Delftsche Studenten Zeilvereniging "de Brielse Maas", where they managed operations and the didactic level of the sailing club.
Reinier van Iwaarden pursued their education chronologically as follows. From 2001 to 2007, they attended VCL (Vrijzinnig Christelijk Lyceum), where they completed pre-university education (VWO). Following that, from 2008 to 2013, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology, earning a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering. Reinier further continued their studies at the same institution from 2013 to 2016, earning a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering.
