Ashby Deatherage

Ashby Deatherage is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Assistant Director at The Learning Experience since February 2023. With a background as an Independent Consultant for Rodan + Fields since November 2018, Ashby has also held positions such as Lead KPrep Teacher at Bright Horizons and Lead Preschool Teacher at St Alban’s Early Childhood Center. Previous roles include Resource Teacher/Administrative Assistant at American University and Co-Lead Preschool Teacher at YMCA of Metropolitan Washington. Ashby's career began with leadership roles at various YMCA locations, including Program Director and Assistant Program Director, as well as experience in community relations and ticketing within the sports industry. Ashby holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Lynchburg, earned in 2007.
