Martin Hirsch

Martin Hirsch has a strong background in sales and management across various industries. Martin most recently served as the Head of Sales Europe and Vice President at Rodenstock Group since August 2019. Prior to that, Martin held the position of Senior Vice President Regional Sales EU Central and Managing Director Germany at VWR, part of Avantor starting in April 2016. Martin was responsible for P&L and revenue over 900Mln USD for the Germany region. Martin also has experience at Carl Zeiss Meditec, where they worked as the Senior Director of Global Business Management from October 2011 to March 2016, and as the Director of Sales - Ophthalmic Systems - Europe/Middle East/Africa from January 2010 to September 2011. Martin started their career at Becton Dickinson in 1993, where they held several roles including Business Director Medical Surgical/Injection Systems, Europe from January 2004 to January 2010, General Manager Central Europe from October 2000 to December 2003, General Manager Poland from August 1998 to September 2000, and Sales Manager Central, Eastern Europe from July 1993 to July 1998.

Martin Hirsch attended RWTH Aachen University from 1988 to 1992, where they studied BWL (Betriebswirtschaftslehre). Additionally, they attended the University of Gdansk from 1982 to 1992, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Handel Zagraniczny (International Trade).
