Jeongin Gug

JeongIn Gug is an accomplished R&D Lab Manager at Roehm since July 2025, with a strong background in formulation, manufacturing, and engineering. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Provivi, Inc. from March 2021 to July 2025, overseeing project management for commercial production, contract manufacturing, and collaboration across multiple teams to ensure product quality and operational efficiency. JeongIn has held various positions in formulation and development both as a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Provivi, and as a Development Chemist II at Birla Carbon, where responsibilities ranged from product development to technical support for polymer compounds. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and MS in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a BS from Inha University. Additional experience also includes a volunteer postdoctoral role at Virginia Tech and research contributions at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, along with leadership experience as a platoon leader in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps.
