Uwe Löffler has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Uwe started their career at Röhm GmbH in 1990, working as a Project Engineer for SAP/R3 and later as an Engineer for Process Automation Technology. In 1999, they joined Evonik Industries AG as the Head of Business Line Controlling Acrylic Monomers. In this role, they were responsible for major controlling processes and provided recommendations for strategic business decisions. In 2009, they worked briefly as a Consultant of Business Unit Controlling Performance Polymers in Shanghai for Evonik Degussa Specialty Chemicals.
In 2010, Uwe Löffler joined Evonik Performance Materials GmbH as the Director of Business Development for Solar & Light Management Acrylic Polymers. Uwe later transitioned to the role of Director of Business Development for Automotive Acrylic Polymers, leading a cross-regional team and implementing effective project management methods. Uwe left Evonik Performance Materials GmbH in 2016 to join Roehm as the Director of the Automotive Business Unit Molding Compounds.
Uwe Löffler's most recent role is with Roehm as the Commercial Director of Acrylic Products, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they briefly served as the Director of Corporate Strategy at Roehm.
Uwe Löffler obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Instrument Mechanic from Peter Müller GmbH Ober-Ramstadt, from 1981 to 1984.
