Amiee Shelton

Amiee Shelton is the Director of Prior Learning at Roger Williams University. Amiee has over 20 years of experience in higher education, including as an Associate Professor and Fulbright Scholar. Amiee has been with Roger Williams University since 2015, first as the Program Director for Liberal Arts & Individualized Studies and then as the Director of Prior Learning. In their current role, they are responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of prior learning policies and procedures, as well as coordinating with faculty and staff to ensure that students receive maximum credit for their prior learning experiences.

Amiee Shelton has a Ph.D. in Humanities from Salve Regina University, an APR from the Post-Graduate Certification Program, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Salve Regina University, an M.S. in Public Relations from Boston University, and a B.S. in Television & Film from the University of Central Missouri.
