John Capostagno

John Capostagno is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in digital operations and release management, currently serving as Sr Director of Digital Operations at Rogers Communications since January 2009. Capostagno has successfully managed the governance and deployment processes for IT releases, overseeing projects valued at $150 million annually, and has led efforts to enhance test automation while reducing operational costs by $1.9 million per year. Previous roles at Rogers include Acting VP of IT Shared Services and Director of Release & Environment Management, where notable achievements included reducing deployment outages and developing strategic process improvements. Prior to Rogers, Capostagno held leadership positions at Nortel, including Senior Manager of Release Program Delivery. Capostagno holds a BSc in Computer Science from Brock University.
