Andrew Pitts

Andrew Pitts has a strong background in data and analytics, with experience at multiple companies. In their most recent role as Director of EIM | Data & Analytics at Rogers Corporation, they are responsible for defining and executing an enterprise data and analytics strategy, improving data quality and governance, and building an analytics strategy. Andrew has also built a new team to support these initiatives. Prior to this, Andrew worked at Ovintiv as an IT Director, where they transformed the team to focus on driving an enterprise-wide data strategy and implementing data governance and stewardship programs. Andrew also created a data governance structure and drove business outcomes using cloud data platforms and advanced analytics. Before Ovintiv, Andrew held various roles at Encana Corporation, including Manager of Information Technology, IT Group Lead, and Lead of Technical and Application Support. In these positions, they managed IT business solutions, led projects related to acquisition and divestiture, and oversaw support for production-related systems.

Andrew Pitts has an educational background in telecommunications and computer science. Andrew obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Wyoming, attending from 1998 to 2002. Andrew has also obtained a certification called "Competing in the Age of AI" from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2022.
