John Collins

John Collins has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the field of information technology. John has worked as the Director of Enterprise Technology at Rogers Corporation, where they led the implementation and support for the Salesforce platform and Azure data engineering and integration teams. Prior to this, they held senior management positions at First Solar, where they played a key role in transforming the organization's IT architecture and leading the data engineering and business intelligence team. John also worked on IT strategy, financial management, and software applications and projects during their tenure at First Solar. Before joining First Solar, John worked as an independent consultant at Verity Consulting, providing technology strategy services to clients. John began their career at Deloitte, where they served as a Senior Manager in Management Consulting. Overall, John's work experience spans over two decades and includes expertise in IT strategy, project management, financial management, and business transformation.

John Collins has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Information Technology from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting & Business Administration from The University of Kansas. John also attended the Chief Data Officer Summer School for advanced data/analytics. In addition, John has obtained certifications including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in February 2020, Executive Data Science Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates in 2017, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in July 2015.
