Shane Sisco, CMSP has a diverse work experience in the mining and electrical industries. Shane started their career as an Underground Miner at White County Coal LLC in 2008 and then worked as a Surface Processing Plant Maintenance worker at Gibson County Coal LLC from 2011 to 2012. Shane joined Sebree Mining LLC in 2012 as an Underground Miner and worked there until 2015. Shane then joined Hamilton County Coal LLC as an Underground Belt Mechanic, where they gained experience in belt operations and drive systems maintenance. In 2016, Shane worked at Morton Solar & Electric, LLC as an Electrical Apprentice and Warehouse Manager. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. as part of the Safety Department, serving as a Safety Technician. Currently, Shane is employed at Rogers Group Inc. as the Safety and Health Manager CKY/OH. Shane has also taken on the role of Underground Training Specialist at the same company since 2020, where they design and implements training for new and experienced miners, holding certifications as an MSHA and American Red Cross Instructor.

Shane Sisco has a diverse education history. In 2011, they attended the University of Southern Indiana, where they pursued a degree in General Studies. After completing their studies in 2012, they moved on to Murray State University from 2008 to 2010, majoring in Electromechanical Engineering. Prior to their university education, Shane graduated from Carmi White County High School in 2008 with a degree in General Education.

In addition to their academic achievements, Shane has obtained several certifications. Shane earned the Certified Mine Safety Professional (CMSP) credential from the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc. (SME) in July 2023. In June 2021, they completed the Excavation Safety for Competent Persons training offered by United Rentals. In August 2020, they obtained the Logging and Chainsaw Safety certification from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA. Shane also holds various certifications related to mine safety, including MSHA Trainer of Trainers (November 2019) and MSHA CPDM Sampling Certified, MSHA Gravimetric Sampling Certified, MSHA Maintenance and Calibration (dates unspecified). Additionally, they have certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED instruction from the American Red Cross (April 2020), an Indiana Mine Foremen Card from the Indiana Bureau of Mines (status unspecified), and OSHA certifications including OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 General Industry (status unspecified).
