Shekinah Branch has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Shekinah started their career in 2010 as an Intern at HENSEL PHELPS, where they gained practical knowledge in quality control engineering. Shekinah conducted daily inspections, managed reports, and updated drawings and specifications for the U. S. Southern Command Project.
In 2011, Shekinah joined HENSEL PHELPS as an Office Engineer for the William P. Hobby International Expansion Project. Their responsibilities involved subcontractor management, reviewing submittals, developing RFIs, and handling pay applications and change order pricing. Additionally, they created material delivery matrix for tracking deliveries, conducted inspections for quality control, safety, and document control, and handled permitting.
Moving forward, Shekinah advanced to the role of Field Engineer for the Dallas Love Field Modernization Project. As a field engineer, they provided layout and control, conducted quality control inspections, and supported the superintendent with field operations.
Since 2015, Shekinah has been working as a Project Manager at Rogers-O'Brien Construction, where they oversee the progress of construction projects.
Shekinah Branch attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Trenching and Excavation Competent Person from United Rentals Trench Safety in October 2012, Scaffold Competent Person 8hr Training from the Scaffold Training Institute in July 2012, Nuclear Construction & Startup Certification and Nuclear Quality Assurance / Quality Control Certification from the SPSU Center for Nuclear Power Generation. Shekinah also holds an OSHA 30-hour Card from OSHA. The specific months and years of obtaining the latter certifications are not provided.
