Drew McCarty, CPA

Drew McCarty, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Drew is currently the Head of Finance at ROH since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Carats & Cake from January 2023 to February 2023, where they also served as the Accounting Director from September 2021 to January 2023.

Before that, McCarty worked as an Assistant Controller at XANT, Inc. (Formerly Insidesales.com) from January 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, managing the accounts payable function, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Drew also assisted the Controller in managing external audit requests and processes.

From June 2015 to January 2020, McCarty worked at Tanner LLC as a Senior Audit Associate. Drew oversaw and trained fieldwork teams, mentored and trained staff, and collaborated with CFOs and Controllers to draft reports for stakeholders.

McCarty began their career as a Research Assistant and Accounting Clerk at Brigham Young University from 2011 to 2015. Drew also worked as a Computer Support Agent during this time. Additionally, they gained experience as a Summer Associate at Berkeley Research Group LLC in 2014 and as a Mortgage Broker at Janis Financial from 2009 to 2011.

Drew McCarty, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting. Drew attended Brigham Young University from 2010 to 2015, where they earned both a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and Accounting, respectively. Prior to university, they completed their high school education at Davis High School from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, they hold the Certified Public Accountant certification from the AICPA.
