Ida Balawander has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 2019, they began their work as a Scientific Apprentice at Barwa Sp. z o.o., where they conducted tests, prepared cosmetic products, and familiarized herself with the company's organizational structure and production profile. Later that year, they worked as a Scientific Apprentice at the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences. During this time, they conducted experiments, surveyed potential compatibilizers for ceramic-polymer materials, and stayed updated on scientific and technical developments. In 2020, Ida joined Aon as a Pensions Administrator Entry - Projects & Solutions, accurately processing transactions and queries and following client-specific requirements. Ida later transitioned to the role of Pensions Administrator Core - Investment Processing Team, where they supported process transitions and focused on service improvement. Currently, they are working at ROI Hunter as a Customer Support Specialist, providing support to customers, advising on campaign performance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Ida Balawander completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Nanotechnology and nanomaterials (Applied physics) from Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki between 2016 and 2020. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in "From Excel to SQL" from LinkedIn in January 2022.
