ROI Hunter first started out as another company called Business Factory, using API calls from Facebook Ads to improve results for clients. Business Factory was so good at this that in 2014, Facebook took notice and invited the CEO, Karel, to meet to explain his operation. Impressed by Karel’s success, Facebook asked him and his team to participate in the Facebook Accelerator competition, which they won, marking the start of ROI Hunter as a separate company and as a Meta Business Partner (MBP).

Fast forward to 2019 – Karel started studying at Harvard Business School and fell in love with retailing. He and his colleague were brainstorming over some pints in a pub about how they could better solve the challenges that digital marketers face. Together, they scribbled down some ideas on a spare sheet of paper from the bar, ideas which would later become the foundation of how ROI Hunter works with product data. And that’s where the first and only Product Performance Management (PPM) platform was born.
