Kazım Soydan

Kaz Z. is an experienced professional in the fields of child protection and support services, currently serving as a Child Protection Caseworker at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice since May 2022. In addition to this role, Kaz contributes to the Matilda Centre Crime Research Group at the University of Sydney and operates as a Forensic Crime Scene Cleaner for BVM Clean Scene. Previous experience includes working as a Women with Children Caseworker at the Women's Justice Network, with a focus on assisting marginalized women, as well as leadership roles such as the Chairperson and Founder of the NSW Trans and Gender Diverse Criminal Justice System Advisory Council. Kaz's background also encompasses a decade in sales and marketing, managing multiple campaigns and teams, alongside formal education culminating in a Master's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University.
