Beat Siegenthaler

Beat Siegenthaler is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in macroeconomic policy and strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Macro Policy at Rokos Capital Management, Siegenthaler previously held the position of Managing Director at UBS, contributing to the UBS Knowledge Network from March 2010 to January 2023. Earlier roles include Executive Director of FX Strategy at TD Securities and Chief Strategist for Emerging Markets at Commerzbank. Siegenthaler’s career also includes positions at the International Monetary Fund as an Advisor to the Executive Director and as an Economist at the Swiss Finance Ministry. Siegenthaler began professional endeavors as an Economic Journalist at Neue Zürcher Zeitung. Educational credentials include a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a Lic.rer.pol. in Economics from the University of Bern, complemented by studies at Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès and Gymnasium Thun.
