Dr. Maximilian Hoffmann

Dr. Maximilian Hoffmann is a Senior Consultant in Sustainability at Roland Berger since February 2024, previously serving as the Team Leader for "Complex Energy System Models and Data Structures" at Forschungszentrum Jülich from October 2018 to January 2024. Dr. Hoffmann has held various roles in the research sector, including Research Field Specialist, Research Associate, and PhD Student. A key project as a Project Engineer at E.ON involved the evaluation and modeling of decentralized heating networks for the TransUrban. NRW project. Dr. Hoffmann's academic background includes a PhD in Energy System Analysis and multiple master’s degrees in related fields from RWTH Aachen University, as well as a visiting scholarship at ETH Zürich.
