Auction Manager at Roller Auctions

Jason Fries is the current Auction Manager at Roller Auctions. Prior to that, they were the Operations Supervisor at Block by Block from February 2014 to December 2014. In that role, they supervised and directed the overall operation, inspection and maintenance of the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District. Jason also worked closely under contract with Downtown Denver Partnership overseeing muliti functional fleet, maintenance shop, store house and inventory, special events, street lighting, street banners, trash collection, power washing, snow removal and block cleanliness.

From March 2012 to August 2013, Jason was the Recreation Director at Ken Caryl Ranch Metro District where they oversaw the District’s recreation staff, facilities, fleet, budget and comprehensive public recreation programs such as senior activities, youth and adult sports, environmental education, fitness & wellness programs, special events and tennis. Jason placed a strong emphasis in youth summer camps, Before & After school programs and aquatics while they were in this role.

Jason began their career in parks and recreation management with the City of New York Parks and Recreation in July 2006 where they served as the Parks and Recreation Manager until March 2012.

Jason Fries received their Bachelor's degree in Public Recreation from South Dakota State University. Jason then went on to The University of Kansas to earn their degree.

Jason Fries reports to Dayton Roller, CEO & President. Jason Fries works with Brian Calkins - Auction & Facilities Manager, Ivan Chavarria - Auction Manager, and David Wiley - Auction Manager.
