Melissa Vater Tumuluru

Melissa Vater Tumuluru has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Melissa worked as an Associate Director of Financial Aid at Rollins College starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid at the same institution from September 2019 to August 2022.

Before joining Rollins College, Melissa worked for Match Education as an Alumni Counselor from August 2018 to June 2019. In this role, they increased alumni engagement, created a transitions curriculum, and utilized data analysis for alumni retention.

Additionally, they served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA Leader at College For All Texans Foundation from August 2009 to May 2010, and as an AmeriCorps*VISTA at the same organization from June 2008 to June 2009. In these roles, they coordinated training programs, researched communication projects, and created resources to increase college enrollment rates.

Throughout their various roles, Melissa has demonstrated proficiency in financial aid management, alumni engagement, program directing, data tracking, and relationship building.

Melissa Vater Tumuluru obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies and Sociology from Centre College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
