Jack Meiklejohn

Jack Meiklejohn is a Mechanical Design Engineer currently working at Rolls-Royce SMR, focusing on Reactor Island Integration within the Containment Installations & Assemblies team since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Programme Member with nucleargraduates and as an Engineering Analyst with the UK Atomic Energy Authority, specifically within the STEP Breeder Blanket Team. Additional positions held include Mechanical Engineer at U-Battery and Innovation and Manufacturing Engineer at Rolls-Royce. Jack's early experience encompasses internships at the Advanced Forming Research Centre at the University of Strathclyde, where involvement included projects related to materials science and residual stress, as well as roles at Babcock International Group and in the retail sector. Jack earned a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, following attendance at Trinity High School.
