Matthew Spuffard

Matthew Spuffard has a diverse work experience in project controls, data analytics, and business intelligence. Matthew founded their own consultancy, Baseone, where they provide data and analytics, project controls, agile, and technology services to clients. Matthew is currently working for several clients to simplify their project controls and reporting while uniting organizational-wide datasets to empower decision-makers with the right information.

Matthew has also worked as a Data and Reporting Lead at Rolls-Royce SMR and as a Project Controls | Data Analytics Lead at AFRY. Matthew collaborated with Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM to enable smarter reporting for Project Controls on the HS2 rail project by utilizing the Oracle Cloud Primavera API.

Furthermore, Matthew has experience working as a Lead Power BI Developer at National Grid, as a Lead Business Intelligence Developer at ENGIE, and in various roles at BP where they assisted in the development of project controls systems and managed portfolio planning using Primavera P6.

Prior to that, they worked at Fluor Corporation as a Senior MAC Interface Planner, at Valero Energy Corporation as a Senior Project Planner, and at KBR, Inc. as a Project Planner. Their roles included planning and scheduling design and delivery, creating detailed schedules, and managing project reporting.
