Andrew Fairhurst

Andrew Fairhurst is a retired engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, particularly with Rolls-Royce from May 2008 until retirement in September 2020. During tenure at Rolls-Royce, Andrew held key positions including Head of Engineering Audit for Marine and Nuclear, Chief Engineer for Submarine Programmes CFBU, and Chief Design Engineer. Andrew’s educational background includes a BA(Hons) in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, completed between 1982 and 1985, and prior studies at Hymers College, where O and A Levels were obtained from 1974 to 1981.
