Ash Owen

Ash Owen is the Head of Future Technology at Rolls-Royce, a position that involves accelerating disruptive technology and overseeing university partnerships. Previously, Ash held various roles within Rolls-Royce, including Chief Engineer of Civil Technology & Future Programmes, where they led initiatives such as the ACCEL electric aircraft project. Ash also served as Managing Director of CTAL, a composites R&D joint venture, from its inception until 2012. Their early career featured significant contributions as a combustion engineer and Chief Engineer for the Trent 700, where they managed technical challenges across a large fleet. Ash holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
