Joshua Thomson-Smith Ceng

Joshua Thomson-Smith CEng is a Civil Aerospace Development Engineer at Rolls-Royce, serving as the Transformation Tech Lead since January 2019. In this role, Joshua focuses on change management for processes and digital tools to enhance the verification of Civil Aerospace products. Previous positions at Rolls-Royce include various roles in the Graduate Mechanical Engineer scheme, where Joshua gained experience in aerothermal combustion design, assembly capability improvements, and external installations stress teams. Joshua's background also includes a tenure at Apple as a Specialist, a Turbines Static Engineering Internship at Rolls-Royce, and retail sales at Vodafone. Joshua is currently a Trustee Board Member for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
