Leonie Malzacher

Leonie Malzacher, Ph.D., currently serves as a Forschungs- und Entwicklungsingenieurin specializing in Compressor Aeroelasticity at Rolls-Royce since May 2021. Malzacher has held various significant positions in academia and industry, including Volunteer Co Managing Director at Radia - the inclusive tech network and Research Associate at Technische Universität Berlin, where responsibilities included the setup of a test rig for aeroelastic investigations and lab management. Prior experience includes a Visiting Researcher role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Gas Turbine Lab and internships at Siemens and Bosch Corporation Japan. Malzacher holds a Ph.D. in engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and has participated in the Erasmus Mundus Master's Programme in Aeromechanics at multiple esteemed institutions.
