Rob Cowan

Rob Cowan currently serves as the Group Chief Information Officer and Interim IT Transformation lead at Rolls-Royce since March 2020. Prior to this role, Rob held an interim position overseeing Global Business Services at Takeda, from August 2017 to February 2020, where responsibilities included establishing the HR, Finance, Procurement, Data & Analytics, and Workplace functions. Rob's extensive experience at Unilever spanned over two decades, where Rob held various leadership positions including Vice President/CIO for Enterprise & Technology Solutions and was instrumental in founding the Global Business Services unit. Additional roles at Unilever included service development, IT strategy and transformation, and overseeing European IT programs. Rob began the professional journey at Birds Eye Wall's, advancing from a Business Analyst to CIO, leading significant improvements in IT services and implementations. Rob holds a BSc Hons. in Information Systems Management from Bournemouth University.
