Ryan McQuigg

Ryan McQuigg has a strong background in engineering and project development. Ryan currently holds the position of Director of Development at Bear Peak Power since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Solar Developer at Cypress Creek Renewables from February 2022 to February 2023.

From December 2020 to February 2022, Ryan served as a Project Developer at ARCO/Murray, where they managed the procurement of entitlements and permits for multiple projects. Ryan effectively communicated with clients and owners to ensure project success.

Before that, Ryan worked at Kimley-Horn as a Civil Engineering Consultant from April 2017 to December 2020. Ryan managed and oversaw various project tasks and was involved in the development of residential, healthcare, industrial, and commercial projects.

Ryan's earlier experience includes working as a CoRe Mentor at Michigan State University, where they provided educational support to students and evaluated their coursework. Ryan also served as a Land Development Intern at Kimley-Horn and as an Engineering Intern and Precision Slide Assembler at Knape & Vogt.

Ryan McQuigg received their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering and Economics from Michigan State University from 2009 to 2014. In 2012, they also briefly attended Anadolu University, where they obtained a BS degree in Civil Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Ryan McQuigg became an Engineering-Intern (E.I.) through the Michigan PE institution in July 2014. Additionally, in July 2013, they obtained certification as a Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
